This is my second stint with Howard Crossing (formerly Town and Country Greenview/West). I lived here back in 2002, and decided to move back in 2004 due to the renovations. Back when I lived here before the apartments were nice but I had a incident where my car was Vandalized, and my sound system was stolen out of my car. Well since I moved back in here NOV 2004, The place has been renovated, brand new kitchens and brand new bathrooms. However there are a few things that make this place not Worth the $999.00 that they get from me once a month

1. Some tenants love to drop trash and unwanted mail down in the hallways. I find myself playing janitor after I come home from working 10 hours, to pick up somebody elses junk mail that they could'nt just throw away when they get in the house.

2. The walls are Thin also, There are alot of different ethnicity's in this complex so you are bound to smell somebody cooking a chinese or mexican dish at 10/11 oclock at night, don't get me wrong im sure they probably smell me frying chicken every now and then but hey, if you gonna make upgrades work on everything not just the bathroom and the kitchen.

Today is 5.20.05 and earlier tonight I was sitting on my computer looking at apartment complex's that were worth my Hard earned $$$ because this place was'nt cuttin' it, my lease is up at the end of OCT and I am trying to wait 1 more year before I purchase a house. Low and behold I hear a loud screach outside my window, I get up walk to the window and observe a guy walking away from one of my vehicles, I turn to my wife and say, he just stole somthing from the car call the police, I run outside to chase the subject and he got away with all 4 wheel covers from my wifes brand new car. So this is the second time that I had my property vandalized in this community, I gave it a second chance but now im really looking to move, somebody in my building had there whole window shot out with a pellet gun, and they just put in these big streetlights that light the whole street up, So it seems no matter what If the thief wants something they are going to get it. This time it was a set of basic stock hubcaps, last time it was my 2,000.00 stereo If I stick around it might be my whole damn car or something worst.

My advice is Look around before you settle on this place because there are alot of people that live around here that are up to no good. And if your willing to spend an extra 100.00-150.00 a month you can get an almost brand new apartment just a few miles up the road. As for the dude that took my stuff right in front of me last night, I have a description of a vehicle that was "casing" my car a few weeks ago, happens to be the same model car that I have, I'll be around this complex lookin for him, and If I catch him.... well ya'll watch the news. All over some damn hubcaps!

I feel sorry for this dude! I was telling my husband thank god we don't have a nice car!!!!
