Carroll Island Apartments

Horrible From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/26/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   Do not rent from Thornhill Properties. After living there for less than 1 year I had enough and broke my lease early!!! From February when I moved in until November (10 months) my apartment was a FIRE HAZZARD! My stove leaked gas and my dryer would run 24/7 and could not be turned off! Denise who was the previous manager never took care of this for over 4 months and the remainder of the time Nancy Messenger the new manager didn't either! I finally had enough and had to open a law suite in order to get things done. Parking, is not well-lit, the curbs are broken comercial trucks are parked in your lot from people who do not live there, and there is never enough parking unless you park at 4pm. Noise, prepare for gun shots going off, fire engines, barking dogs, loud music from car and house stereo systems. Oh and you'll love the sound of the workers on your roof working all hours of the day and night! Grounds,if and when they cut the grass it's amazing! I don't know how they get the lawnmower over the grass it's so tall. Winter... A NIGHTMARE!!! They never de-ice the sidewalks or shouvel. Unless your feet are 3 inches big and you walk sideways! Safety, Several of my neighbors were robbed going to their cars, taking out the garbage (in daylight) and houses where broken into! In the middle of the night the police where being called because of burglers knocking on the doors at 3am to see if anyone was home! Construction, the walls started to crack, holes in the floor under the carpets. Now you tell me' Maintenance, READ ABOVE!!! STAFF.... MAKE ME LAUGH!!! When I called to report everything that was wrong in my apartment I was told to "F*** myself, they'll get around to it when they can!" Still want to move here' You are NUTS!!! OVERALL>>>>>>>DO NOT MOVE TO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!
