I lived here for a little over two years. I was a student and could not afford better housing. there was often underground water pipe work and were without water on several occasions without advance notice. In addition the mice were very aggressive creatures. I remember killing a total of 10 mice in a 3 day period. I have written complaints demonstrating this. I remember clearly once they started becoming a problem how one of them ran across my path. The mouse was extremely large. I hate to be so graphic but they were every where. A pound, a patch or a litter or whatever the hell you want to call it were born one night, and I woke up in the middle of the night and saw the new born mice. I vividly remember setting traps and hearing them go off like fireworks at night. This place is horrible. During my final months in Cove Village I often had to stay at friends place because I was afraid of my mental and physical health from being surrounded by such creature. May I mention that in August 2004, while I lay in bed a stray bullet entered my bedroom window, flew inches above me and came out through my bathroom wall. My home became a crime scene as police removed the bullet from my shower wall and the body of a young man who was removed from my court. One bullet entered him, the other my house. This was reported on the news August 19th, 2004. Initially the place was nice to live in. After a few months going on a year I realized how incompetent and unruly the leasing staff was. i was able to leave my lease without penalty because of all that I have endured living here. It was not easy but by God's grace I was afforded the opportunity to leave. I hated living here, and would not recommend this dump to my worst enemy. Landlords should take pride in the property they rent to fellow citizens. This place does not support this theory. Upon graduating and landing a decent job. I relocated with my first new paycheck
