I moved in this development December 2006. After putting in my application, by mistake I came across the apartment ratings on the web. I was horrified after reading all the negative reviews about Cove Village. I already had my approval and I wanted to change my mind. However, it was already November and my current lease where I was living was about to expire and I didn't have time to go through applications with other locations. To my surprise, I'm glad I moved here and its almost a year now. The only downfall is the kitchen is so small. The staff has been wonderful and I have not seen any roaches or mice. Also, the property is kept neat, grass cut and whenever it snows, they are right there making the sidewalks safe and clearing the path. The rent is reasonable compared to other places. When I first moved in, I did hear some shooting, but that is everywhere. If there are any issues with drugs or gangs, it must be kept quiet because I have not heard or seen anything else. I would recommend living here and always judge for yourself because everyone has a different outlook.

I met exactly what I said....I heard some shooting. Remember, I moved in the end of December which was a few days before New Year's Eve. It may not been from violence, but it could have been from people just celebrating New Year. Usually, during New Year's shooting is everywhere. Where the hell are you from that you don't know that!
