Very good management. despite less than stellar houses.

The strongest asset this community has is the management's commitment to maintenance and beautification. Let's be honest, the houses are small and the walls are paper-thin. I don't see that there is any way to do anything about that short of razing the whole place and starting over. However, the management is very committed to maintenance. In the nearly two years I have lived here they have repainted the doors, replaced siding, replaced the rusting metal plating at the roof-line, and installed extra ventilation to alleviate the potential for carbon monoxide problems. Just this morning there was a work crew outside replacing some old vinyl trim where the brick and siding meet. Landscaping crews keep bushes trimmed and grass cut on a regular basis. They even installed receptacles for dog walkers to throw away poop-bags. Also, every single time we have had a maintenance request someone has come to look at the problem (and usually fix it) THE SAME DAY! At our last residence, we went without air-conditioning from April to October. Cove Village is not like that, thank goodness.
We also picked up an insect infestation from somewhere. The management sent an exterminator several times and took care of the problem right away.
Downsides:
-Neighbors can be rather rowdy, which is exacerbated by the thin walls.
-Many residents and their guests deliberately litter. Honestly, why'!
-The homes are very small.
