Harbor Point Estates formerly known as East Roc is a horrible place to live! It was my first time being out on my own and it was the worse first time that I ever had. I had to wind up breaking my lease because I had a terrible issue with mice. I am terrfied of mice! No matter what maintenance did mice would still come. Having a mouse run over your foot at 4am while using the bathroom is not a good feeling. They practically took over my townhome.
New management took over and made horrible renovations to the outside of the townhome. There were thin windows and insulation. You hear all of your loud, inconsiderate neighbors. Children deface the property (i.e. cursing written on playground equipment, spray paint on walls). I once found a condom on the sliding board just before allowing my son to play on it! The neighbors are trifling, ghetto and stay out all hours of the night. They pop firecrackers all night and even once out of my neighbors pick up truck. They knew that he was old and could not fend for himself. I am a single mother and feared for my safety. Guys would constantly yell at me and make obscene comments (that can happen anywhere but at least they would not know where you live when it happens in the street). The rental office workers are nice but Sawyer is awful! I found out that they accept Section 8 which I asked before I moved in and they said no. I now know why I had so many problems. They had tremendous amounts of violence. The grounds are not kept well, it's tacky, and an eye sore! Trash everywhere!
If you chose not to have a better way of life then move to Harbor Point Estates the name definitely does not go with the property!
