I wouldn't recommend renting from Marlyn Gardens. After renting two diffrent apartments with them and receiving a refund of my deposit from both apartments upon leaving I was turned away a few years later. It was recommended by the staff that I shouldn't apply for a 2nd floor apartment due to my son being a todler. I did anyhow because that was the only apartment available at the time. Even with the good relationship I had in the past with this property my application was rejected with the simple explanation that I didn't qualify. Although I had no problems qualifing for a bottom floor apartment in the past. Aside from this incident, during the time I was there, the apartments hadn't been updated. They are very small and parking is very little.

i have been there and been told by all the residents i encountered that it was quiet and a great start off place for me. If you want to be resonable any appt. out there has pests, all it takes is one to move in, then theres a million no matter who brought them in. I ts up to managemnet to take care of it once noticed but if your nieghbors are dirty you will get them back!

This doesn't make sense. You rented there twice, and tried to rent a third time, but you don't recommend it? Why are you trying to rent there then? For anyone keeping score, this is the second review on this place where someone lived there WAY too long to not recommend living there, yet didn't recommend it. This place is dirt cheap, and I'm trying to decide if I want to take a chance on it. If I do rent here, I'll post a decent review after a few months.

Just be careful if you decide to rent here...It can be very peaceful and the two maintenance men are great. The office personnel leave plenty to be desired.. The owner will not step up to the plate to handle anything and does not respond to any of the major problems! Parking is great! Both properties are maintained bt the two men and they do a great job considering what they are working with. Pests are a MAJOR problem in SOME buildings...neighbors can be the main cause of that and then once the pests move in, it is difficult to get rid of them! Best of luck to you! For a tight budget or starter apt it is great...month to month, so you are not locked into an eternity of unpleasantness if it does not work for you! God Bless~

I am currently trying to move out and my sister in law lives here, she hasnt ever had a problem, that i am aware of. she has been there for a long time, i will write a good review after a couple of weeks, we are going to apply sometime this week, hopefully we will get it =]
