Ok, my wife and I are currently looking for an apartment and I was just checkig out some places I have lived before.... WOW! It is great to see so many people have the same opinion as me on sweet,`charming, Denise..... Man she is a piece of work.. For those of you who do not know she is the apartment manager...She is old school..Thats code for doesnt give a ---- what law she breaks she gets her way..Racial, marital, gender or age descrimination, this woman does it all and just dont give a crap what anyone says.... I am now 34 and lived here first when I was 18. After 2 years of perfect rental payments I asked to be moved to a smaller apartment and was told that they do not downgrade anyone.... So, I wet and got a 1 bedroom somewhere else.. About two years ago my girlfriend and I tried to rent from here. We were told there was and apartment availiable and showed the unit. We were asked to put in and application (which included a fee for both of us) which we did.. The next day we called to check the status of the application...Denise sayed everything went through fine and that a apartment would be availiable in 6 weeks or so..... When we asked about the apartment that we looked at she said it was already rented....WHAT THE HELL' was my response.. She told me the place was availiable....GUESS SHE MADE HER GAS MONEY FOR THE WEEK BY STEALING OUR APPLICATION FEES.... We called the main office and nevr got a reply.... I have never met a person that has met this woman and liked her when they walked away.... WELL AT LEAST THE DUMP IS CHEAP!!!! If your now 18 years old, dont move here. Try Glen Manor up the road on Old Eastern Ave.( Its not as cheap) IT SUCKS TOO! just not as bad....But at least you wont have to deal with a racist, sexist, angry, old bit*h with a chip on her shoulder....

Wow, great story, someone rented the apartment out from under you. Did you consider that instead of a personal vendetta against you, someone who was undecided, but saw it first decided to pull the trigger? Like, hey the apartment is available, wait now it's not. As far as 'yeah, but what are the chances of that happening?!' just as likely that someone rents an apartment on that day of the year as any other. Were you told that you have to submit another application in 6 weeks? If not, then then how did anyone STEAL anything? You paid for an application, it was approved, you can get an apartment. It sucks that you couldn't get the apartment you wanted, but really, there's a good chance that the world doesn't revolve around you, and all the other people don't care enough about you to actively try to make your life rough. Get over it. What would be great though is if you could actually write a review about the apartment that could be useful to other people.
