Worse apartment complex

I lived in this townhouse for a year. When you call for maintenance, you come back and find a note but, the problem still existing. I kept my payments on time and had no problem. My worse nightmare came when I sent my rent as agreed one month within the time frame. It came back after 2 weeks stating something was missing on the check and I had to complete that and add a late payment fee. I went ahead to pay both the same day as requested.Within a week the was a court note in my mail. What is ever worse was , they couldn't give any tangible explanation or show any form of remorse for their conduct. And in case you need to know, they are going to make sure you don't get your deposit back. You get slap with every charge they can think of and demand some more money on top of that. How many apartment(s) do charge to repaint the apartment after a tenant move out or even charge to work on the little little wear and tear that comes with living in a place. Do take this serious before you go ahead and sign a contract with them. If you need extra company and friends, the mice will always be around.
