I have lived there for 2 years now. When I first moved in the manager (A black male) not to mention any names, told me" we don't have any drug problems" and " If you we see anything we will get right on it." ALL LIES, these Slum landlord BUMS, including the Owners let everything and anything under the sun take place that was illegal and at times accesories and the ones comitting the crimes. Since I moved in there has been constant drug activity throughout the whole apartment complex. There were continuous shootings, assaults, theft, bribery, extortion, and intimidation by both the staff as well as the tenants and their visitors (drug dealers and users). My next door neighbor moved in in oct.2003 and within 2 weeks had moved in 2 other families that were selling drugs from her house, shooting out of the windows at the other drug dealers, males assaulting tenant over drug deals gone bad and intimidation tactics. I complained, complained and complained as well as the other senior citizens that lived there as well, but nothing became of it, in fact Baltimore County just acquired the property and my neighbor was rewarded for her behaviour, the county gave her a section 8 certificate,(for those who don't know what that is; it's were our government picks up the tab for your rent paying as much as $1,000 a month for their rent, moving the same violent individuals to, yet another sometimes nice neighborhood so they can destroy it as well.) they moved the young lady and her cohorts to "Commons at White Marsh" it's supposed to be one of the best places to go as far as section 8 goes. Back to kigsley, the management had to on several occasions fire employees because instead of fixing peoples apartments, they were taking invoice of their belongings and robbing them. This problem still continues until this day. Just recently management broke my door down saying "Oh, we're sorry, we thought you moved out" How can someone in management forget you live there when they see you everyday. My apartment is right across from the office. If you have ever considered moving into a low rent apartment I suggest you reconsider it. I was almost shot when coming home from the grocery store whan 3 young Black males shot another young black male in his thigh near his groin and ran to their car to my left. the police came after all was said and done and 1 of these men, a drug dealer, is still running around here. this happened about 10 months ago. So much for a safe neighborhood.
