Well as for an affordable "Home" I guess you get what you pay for in a pinch. I can hear my neighbors below using the bathroom, washing dishes even being intimate, and I live on the third floor. Some of my windows won't even shut all the way and hear it is January. I've had to hang comforters and plastic to keep my BG&E bill as low as possible. I have cracks in my ceiling, uneven floors and old stained carpet that needs stretched or replaced in a bad way. The painters painted hair onto my walls that I can't remove (NASTY). I see bugs Like stink bugs all the time. Laundry facilities are outrageous. And as for maintence I see them at their own houses more than repairing the tenants. Not to mention a new girl there that I have been warned about seems she likes to try a sleep around with any man that may look her way. Most of the time (MOST NOT ALL) if maintence shows they appear and smell drunk or high. I have never really had a problem with corporate they tend to try to be helpful and have actually assisted in ways most won't. But it just goes downhill from there. My advice to those looking for a place to live. It's ok for a place to get yourself together, but definatley not a permanet residence. Oh, and as for a neighborhood for children there a plenty of kids, just don't let them out of your sight, our out a night.
