The problem i've experienced is the rodents, because the building is next to the woods. Rodents is a major problem. Also the floors are creaky and old. You can hear everything above your apartment. It seems as if you live in the apartment upstairs also. Yes, you will know your neighbors whole life story without even asking, due to the apartment buildings condition. But at least you gain a bigger family, neighbors, mice and even roaches occasionally. If I had to rent from southwoods again I wouldn't.
