I moved in in Jan 2007. Had LOTS of problems with the apartment when I got here, but in time they were pretty much all resolved. Problems included a very poor cleaning job (not even sure it was cleaned at all before I moved in), appliances that did not work, doors that did not latch, including the front door, a huge tear in the screen door, to name a few. For the most part everything is under control now. It took them a few months to get it all fixed up.

The appliances are old and run down. The cabinetry is discolored and the different cabinets all appear to be different colors. The counter tops have lots of defects which were never really fixed. They look terrible and feel worse. The bathroom sinks and tub drains are cracked and falling apart. They kitchen floor is also cracked and peeling.

Neighbors are loud. I can not leave my windows open because the neighbors smoke and it makes my apartment smell like smoke. The entire common area of the building wreaks of cigarette smoke. I can hear entire conversations and TV shows from surrounding apartments.

The playground is nothing more than one swing set with 3 swings. The swings are in poor shape and the area that it is located it is not at all taken care of. IT is overgrown with weeds, dog poop, and trash. I have never seen anyone use it.

Parking is terrible. If you come home from work late (ie after 5 or 6 pm) you are stuck parking on the street or across the street at the condo.

On the bright side, the other tenants in my building are nice, seemingly good hearted people. For the price, it is not all bad. It is a roof over your head, AC in the summer, heat in the winter, and a place to cook. Oh, they do not supply you with a microwave. You must bring your own. That was a big deal for me.
