Okay so we are not living in pleasentville, it is Prince George's County. The entire area is known for crime and Forestville seems to be like little D.C. but the area is getting better and the property is making measures to help. The poperty has made progress with the saftey for the residents, but they can not help if there are parents who do not give their children better home training. My problem is not with the property, but some of the peeople the reside here and ruin it for the rest of us! I have noticed security almost every night stopping anyone walking the property. I hope that it continues! The property is very quiet now! I like that they make people sign an agreement that they will not loiter or use drugs or they will kick you out.
The apartments are not beautiful and they do rent apartments with old carpet, but they help people get apartments who have gone through a lot of trouble and need a place to go.
The maintenance staff are very nice and always come to my apartment by the next day or so. The property on the outside is also very nice. Yes, like all of you I too miss the pool, but it is not like we moved here for a pool we moved here for a roof over our head and we are not being charged for it.
My only problem would be with how rude Malcolm can be, but I have found that if I pay my rent on time he has no reason to call me or for me to call him. I rely on the office here in Maryland to take care of my business with. I would recomend that if anyone has a problem then call the Rental Office in MD becuase they are not rude like Malcolm.
There are late fees that are a lot, and at times have got me a little behind. I do not like that we are not informed if they got our money. I have now decided to send my payments certified mail where it requires a signature for when they get it in VA at their post office and I keep track of it online with my bank account.

In all if you are looking for big apartments for a low price then this is the place. They are willing to help a lot of people too. Just do not expect to get a castle on a beer budget. The prices are marked for what they are worth which includes the area!
