I feel this is a great quite community that cares for their residents. Yes, they want their rent ontime, but so does every bill collector. I feel that too many people on this site argue about Malcolm whose only job is too call and collect rent... and thats what you deserve if you do not pay ontime. If you owed me a tousand and you were late I too would be calling you! But honestly this is a nice place. They truly know how to take care of the comples and you would have no idea that it is really old. In the last 5 years I have seen a complete turn around of the complex thanks to the great management that we have! The maintenance men and office staff (Gary) really take care of the property as if it was their own personal investment. They are there to help wether it is something broke in my apartment, a rent payment issue or even when it was after hours and Gary, who works in the Rental Office was walking to his car to leave and saw me trying to carry my groceries. He stopped to help an old lady out! I am sorry, but you cannot find that at many communities. The staff is like an extended family and I would never leave them. They even have secutiy here not like we really need it, but they make sure that the kids are kept in check and that the other problems of the area (Forestville) are not trying to corrupt our community. The management provides us with a lot of care. They kick out the bad and keep and work with the good unlike other managements that keep anyone who can pay the rent. I love my community and recommend it to anyone I know to move in! Two of my kids lived here in their own apartments. One moved to buy a house and the other still lives here, with no complaints. I could not even move from here to buy a house becuase I am so spoiled because the office, management, and maintenance men take care of me so much!

I know what you mean about taking care of the community. I just moved here and I got that feeling about the office staff as soon as I talked to them about moving in. My favorite part is that everyone signs a drug free housing paper which shows that they really do mean business here. I am glad to see that they take care of people who have been here for a long time, not a lot of places do that, and it makes me look forward to living here.

I never signed a drug free housing paper, and I am new too. Security? Where? I see kids almost regularly sitting in one spot smoking drugs. I reported it and I still see them. I seen three high teens today as I was walking into my apartment. I am thinking hard on breaking my lease here. I guess there is a good and bad side to everything, and they stuck me on the bad side.

You are most likely one of the dumb ass staff here at Doral terrace because any ------- fool would not want to stay in live in these unfit living conditions I hope you and the neighborhood go straight to hell!!!

OOOOH goodness....these people really have you suckered don't they?? I paid my rent on time all the time...BUT when I had maintenance problems....they take their dear sweet time about doing anything about it....if it's so great, why don't they open the pool so that the kids have something to do? Answer: too cheap. They don't want to keep up with the costs of having an operable pool and paying some 16-year old to be the life-gaurd....Get real. Apartment over a house? PLEASE.

babydiva how long have you been living at Doral Terrace? I am looking for a place and Doral Terrace is one of my picks. Do they go up on the rent? how is the electic bill every month?
