I am only going to speak for my experience. I lived in Holly Springs Meadows for over 3 years and I can say that it's a very nice area. The worst things I've experienced around there were roaches because of nasty neighbors that moved out before we moved in, my car was keyed back in 2003, people blasting their music, kids playing in the parking lot hitting your car with their football and setting off your car alarm after numerous notices from the management that kids should play in the playground, kids loitering in front of selected building late at night (mainly 5519), car thefts (a few since I've been here but my car were never stolen), couples fighting, kids cursing, and that should wrap it up as far as I'm concern. These may sound like a lot of issues and can be major, but overall, these problems can easily occur at 65-80 percent of communities in Prince George's County and NOT to be stereotypical or anything but mostly predominant in ------- American Communities. Those are the facts; take it as you see it. I can applaud the effort of Holly Springs for making my stay comfortable as possible. It is 90-95% quiet and the staff are professional as far as I see it. Maintenance are also responsive and they did took care of the pest problem. I haven't seen one roach in over three years and I never seen rodents. In order for a community to be pleasant, it takes EVERYONE to pitch in, not only the management. Residents, GET YOUR KIDS. Stop having them running around here damaging people's property and having them loitering before they'll get you evicted. People are actually video taping their actions to back up their story. Keep your places clean because it can attract roaches and rodents which can also creep in your neighbor's apartment. Put a gridlock and/or car alarm on your car. It can deter the undetermined and delay the determined and a gridlock only takes three seconds to put on. And PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, turn your music down. I don't want to hear it. I like R&B but not while I'm watching TV. Turn some of that bass DOWN!!! People work all day and wanting to come home to a nice quiet apartment but can't because you want to disturb their comfort blasting that hippity hop. Just keep it down, your apartments are NOT THAT BIG!!!! BE considerate. And please be vigilant (especially ladies). There robbers, rapist, and all types of criminals out there. Hey, not to step on toes here but it's the people (mainly the residents) that can make it pleasant for everyone else. I like Holly Springs Meadows and I definitely recommend them.
P.S. I was a resident there and this is not coming from an employee from Holly Springs or any of their affiliates of any nature.
