On Thursday a young man was killed two buildings down from me. Everyone seen him as he laid bleeding on the ground. This happened maybe five mintues after three police officers left the rental office. Police showed up and the took him off to the hospital, He was pronouced dead. The rental office personal came out to find out what had happened and as ghetto as these people were it made me sad,that was someones chid. The rental office has cameras placed on the building, We ask how come they werent on and they stated that there on a timer. If those expensive camermas would have been on then maybe they would have seen the type of car the gnman was in. The how about those expensive gates they have been building for the last six months, If those MF would have been working maybe the car would not have been able to get in and killed that young man. I Have never seen anything like this. I am so scard to even come outside anymore yet let my children go outside.THEY ARE SPENDING OUR MONEY ON EXPENSIVE A@# EQUIPMENT THAT DO NOT WORK, WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING ALL OF THIS CRIME FIGHTING EQUIPMENT INCLUDING THE POLICE OFFICERS WHO STAY IN THE RENTAL OFFICE 24/7 IN AND OUT ALL NIGHT. I AM BREAKNG MY LEASE AND REALLY DONT CARE WHAT THE RENTAL OFFICE HAS TO SAY IN THE MANNER. DEATH HAS COME TO CLOSE TO MY HOME AND CHIDREN AND THAT'S TOO MUCH FOR ME.AND THE SUMMER HAS NOT EVEN BEGUN YET THERES GONING TO BE MORE THAN JUST THAT. THIS ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD IS CRIME AND DRUG INFESTED.I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX OR THE SURROUNDING ONES AS WELL TO A FRIEND OR SWORN ENEMY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHOEVER GETS TRICKED INTO MOVING HERE JUST REMEMBER YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR''''''''''''''''''''''''MICE,DISRESPECTFUL STAFF,MUDE,DRUGS,AND MORE.. My last day there was the day after that shooting. Ilived in the very back and I know exactly what you were talking about! On my last day there I had to deal with attitude from the lady Tracy in the office. But after I let her know that I was not having it and Regency Pointe could kiss my butt, she knew I was not playing. I just wanted to do my walk through of my apartment and LEAVE FOR GOOD. That place is terrible. The area would be a good place to live because it's close to DC and the beltway. But the people made it what is it. And until the people change, that place is only going to get worst. I'm glad I left......
