Let me start off by saying that the rental office staff at "Forest Creek" were horrible. They changed my date and apartment several times. I still never received the apartment which I originally applied and was approved for. If it wasn't for the Regional Manager, I would still be trying to get an apartment. But I do have to say "Regency Village" rental office is a far better cry than the old "Forest Creek". Did I mention they lost my paperwork and it took me several months to get a copy of my lease. When I first moved into my apartment my neighbors introduced themselves (the roaches). I have bombed the place several times but those little critters keep coming back. But I know it is because of my trifling neighbors. If your neighbors have them you will have them. My human neighbors or no picnic neither. They play their music and party until the wee hours in the morning. The parking spaces are too small and tight But I do see that they are trying to beautify the complex and clean up their image. Maybe they should try cleaning up the act of maintenance. My ceiling in the bathroom leaks at least once every three months and I am not exaggerating. The last time it leaked it took maintenance three days to come out and cut two holes in my ceiling and then it took them almost a week to seal the hole back up. And they have never put the vent cover back over the vent in the restroom. The plus side is the apartments are spacious. Unfortunately, the previous owners mismanaged their property so it will take a few years for the current management team to clean it up. The process will not happen overnight and some of the residents are hindering the process. Yes the place is ghetto. But it is a bigger improvement than when I first moved in. So if you are looking for an apartment, are patient and have limited funds this might just be the place for you. But if you have kids and you want to raise them in adequate environment think long and hard and keep shopping. Another plus side, the elementary school, Samuel P. Massie, is a great school.
