I moved here because Jack Johnson said he was cleaning it up. I have lived here for over a year. They have made repairs to the landscaping. My apartment is spacious. People loiter in front of the building and hallways. Trash and debris are always on the steps. Someone constantly breaks the coin slots in the laundry room. I called the rental office to find a solution and was abruptly told that the laundry room was not management's problem. Why have security cameras when nothing is never enforced. The same people are sitting on the front of the building when I leave for work in the morning until I get home in the evening. They smoke weed and drink like there is no tomorrow. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT ENFORCE ANYTHING. What happened to the security staff' Management used to send out notices every other week or so stating that if they smelled marijuna coming from an apartment, that was an automatic eviction. That was a joke. Management offered free apartments to teachers at Samuel Massie Elementary School and PG County Police. It's funny, I see that same police officer going into his free apartment, walking between the people blowing puffs of weed in his face and it does not faze him. Management says crime is down since we have police officers living on site. (HA-HA) We wanted to start a tenants association. We approached management about using the community center and was told NO. They advertised about having a fitness center on the property but from the different people I have polled, no one seems to have received a notice about using the facilities. The 6501 building (rental office) is emmaculate. Always clean and no loitering. Now, go to the buildings 6423, 6425, 6427 & 6429. Weed, drugs, all kinds of weirdo's in full view of the security camera BUT NOTHING IS NEVER DONE! Miles Properties is very good a collecting rent, I'll give them that.
