I moved in Regency Village in May 2006 on a one day notice. My other apartment fell threw at the last minute, therefore I was happy to get something close to home quickly. When I moved in, there weren't any problems but times changed more rapidly than they should have. I moved out in November 2006. My parents live five minutes away and I spent a minimum of 5 nights a week at their house when I was paying rent to live on my own. My sister and I decided to get a townhouse together, so I terminated my lease. "Here lies the largest problem". The turn over rate for the employees is ridiculous. I swear every two months someone else has been fired. NO ONE can keep up with your files. What is supposed to be a leasing agent calls and give inaccurate information about your balance . DONT EVER CALL FOR MATEINECE. I had mice running threw my house to the point where my dog was attempting to catch them. I saw one run into my stove one night and called. I requested that before the exterminator (which never came) showed up a member of the maintenance personnel come by and pull out my stove to see if there was a hole in the wall that the mice were entering and leaving through. See the problem is I lived on the top floor. No one should have mice on the top floor. As far as roaches, my best friend is a exterminator and treated my apartment for me, and also gave me a spray that is not over the counter to keep them gone. Maintenance is non existent when it comes to doing their jobs. One even asked me for a drink while servicing my broken air-condition, all because I was having a gathering.
The complex put out a memo to all residents about a recent breaking and entering that occurred and attached numerous safety tips about locking doors and window, and being aware of your surroundings. A week later the light bulb in my building to the top floor hallway went out, and it took them three weeks to fix it. I complained numerous times and even contacted their corporate office in Georgia. If you put out something acting like you care about safety the first step is making sure there aren t any dark areas where people can be mugged, robbed or raped. I work at the police department and get off various hours ranging for 7am to 5am some days. To come home at 2 in the morning for work and not want to go into my apartment where I pay my hard earned money because I cant see if there is anyone waiting is un heard of,. When I went to break my lease I was told I had to pay a month s rent. Negative, they already have the equivalent of a months rent of my money that I had to put down (acting as my last months rent). On numerous occasions they attempted to enforce policies that were not in my lease, therefore making them not enforceable by law. On various occasions I came home to find maintenance at my door attempting to gain entry when there wasn t a call for service. Items began missing from my apartment, but there were no signs of forced entry at her doors or windows and I have the only key to my apartment aside from the rental office. The property manager (I believe his name is Shane) does not know anything about the company s policies and doesn t even try to hear complaints. I know I ve said a lot to sum it up. We all knew Forest Creek, and Regency Village is worst. Even now with my keys being turned in the rental office is calling my cell phone stating I owe damn near two hundred dollars. I bet they won t see it. I promise this if need be of summonsed I ll show for court. Oh and don;t let my rental price fool you i moved in during a special where the actual rent was 715. Two months later the rent for a one bed room shot up to 820 a month. Miles Corp does not enforece deposits just first and last month rent.
Noise: not a problem if you dont mind scheduled gun shots every night, the ice cream truck at 11pm, or your neighbors holding their conversation outside your window as loud as possible

I agree with you 100% about miles properties they are scam artist. They build these apartments as cheap as possible and charge sky high amounts of rent I am paying 958.00 a month. They lure u in with these offers because they know they suck. I live in regency square apartments on rochelle ave and it sucks. I have roaches inmy apartment since i moved in and i still have not seen an exterminator yet. Where were u able to find your townhouse and how much is the rent?

I agree 100%. I filed suit against these horrible slum lords, as Deidre lanier (at the community standards inspectors office) referred to them. I have had all the same problems and then some. A weak bathroom floor, from the toilet leaking, busted shower pipes, mice (and I clean all the time-I am a cleanliness freak), roaches, NO A/C (for two entire summers), No heat (in the extreme cold of winter), CJ (maintenance) dumped mice poisoning in my stove, maintenance entering my house all during non-business hours-with wrenches and screw drivers, no use of the run down cabinets, my refrigerator did not work for a complete summer, OHHHH! the freaking raw sewage back ups-that fludded my entire apartment, mice chewed up the carpet, rain leaking in my apartment everytime it rains (from the so-called new windows), worn unleveled floors, and numerous other living conditions/housing code violations. SUE THESE MISMANAGERS AND SLUM LORDS. FILE YOUR SUIT AT UPPERMARLBORO COURTHOUSE. Go to the 3rd floor (Dept. of Assessment and Taxation) to obtain their registered company name and address. The name to list as the defendant is MPI Forest Creek and their agent is in Baltimore, MD, also their lawyer. DON'T ALLOW THEM TO COLLECT OUR MONEY FOR UNITS THAT SHOULD BE CONDEMNED! THESE RESIDENT MANAGERS AND AREA MANAGERS ARE DRIVING MERCEDES AND TENANTS CAN'T GET MAINTENANCE TO RESPOND FOR OBVIOUS AND/OR LIFE THREATENING MATTERS. There are so many tenants suffering in silence, thinking they are the only people suffering in these conditions. TAKE PHOTOS and VIDEO RECORD all of these PROBLEMS. Send emails to management so you have a paper trail. Get the names and numbers of all witnesses/neighbors that have first hand knowledge of the conditions at Regency Village. MOST IMPORTANTLY, SHOW UP IN COURT ON OCTOBER 24, 2007 AT 8:45am. Take a stand, don't take thier ----!! Join as a plaintiff against them. Recup your funds that these thieves have take from us. If you have excessive/high electric bills from running an inoperabel A/C unit, bring them. STOP Regency Village and Miles Property. Call the Local and national news stations with your problems. Go to http://www.milesproperties.com. Local the names and contact info of the person(s) that oversee the management of your unit. Contact Daniel Miles via email at: dmiles@milesproperties.com Call the GA office at 404.965.3300

I don't live at RV, I'm just reading the reviews, and Jesus, my heart goes out to everyone. Here I am unemployed, previously owned my own business. And the management at RV who does have jobs and fancy cars don't desire them/don't know have customer service. I previously worked as a leasing consultant years ago. I would love the employment opportunity to turn RV around with totally new employees form the rental office staff to maintenance. I feel very safe to say that the staff wouldn't dare live in those run down conditions.
