I've lived at Regency Village (Formerly Forest Creek for 3 years). I just put my vacancy notice in.

Someone was shot on the stairs of my apartment building. I came home from work to find myself having to step over blood to get into my apartment.

There are people loitering in the hallways and on the stairs of the apartments. I bought a new car and it was vandalized after the 2nd day of owning it. (Hit with a blunt object on the hood and fender). You can smell weed and other substances in the hallway's. There is litter everywhere and even left in the hallway's by other residents and kid's who's parents did not teach them any better.

Kid's play football in the streets of the community, hitting cars with their footballs and hanging their coats over my vehicle.

There is no enforcement of security in this community. Everything is reactionary after something happens. There is nothing done to prevent problems. Kid's sit on bumpers of other residents cars as if they are furniture.

The changes that have been made have minimal since the property name change and management change. It has not made a dent in the continuing problem in this community. They built a security booth and had security officers checking who enters the community car by car at one time.

However, that did not last. I have not seen security in months and the booth is gone. They built an electronic entry kiosk into the community which is not in use.

I'm an college educated person who works hard to better myself. My hard work has paid off and I no longer have to be subject to all the things that come along with lower than average rental payments in this community.

I choose to do better.. I hope you choose to not even bother....

This place sounds like it hasn't changed much from the time I lived there, and I moved out of that dump in 1999. I was seriously depressed the entire time and couldn't wait for my lease to expire so that I could leave. No one should have to live like this.
