I have read all of the complaints about Regency Village and I may not have the whole solution, but it helps in general. For starters, whenever you move into any complex, you should always try to move as close to the front or rental office as possible. If people are gonna act up, they're less likely to do it where they can be seen. During the same time you're apartment hunting, at night drive through the area on weekdays and weekends. Knock on a door and ask the current resident how's the area' how's maintenance, how's the schools, kids, neighbors, etc(also try to find someone who lives in the back).

I've lived in Regency Village since May '06. Maintenance is slow, but that's about the only complaint i have. I honestly think majority of the people with the complaints live in the 6400 block, but I live in the 6500 block, 2 building s from the office. I have no noise problems, no real loitering, just maybe 1 of the kids from my building and a friend or two but they're always respectful, help me with my bags, etc. My neighbors are nice, my building is clean, only 1 of our washing machines breaks sometimes but thats it. Altough I do plan to eventually, I'm staying right here for now.

You also stated that 2 bldgs. away from the rental office. Your sadly mistaken and the only person to give this dreadful place a high rating.
