I MOVED IN THE 22ND OF DEC 2007 AND IM SO READY TO MOVE.........I AM 23 YEARS OLD AND I LIVE BY MYSELF I MEAN ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS MOVE FROM PARKBERKSHIRE AND BE HAPPY...WTF I MEAN I MOVED IN UNDER A DRUG HOUSE I MOVED IN BESIDE FOLKS THAT ARE SOOOOOO TRIFLAND THEY GOT ROACHES COMING FROM THRE HOUSE IN TO MY APT UNDER THE DOOR.......I CAN HEAR THEM NXT DOOR HAVING SEX YELLING AT THE KIDS SHOWERING AND MORE STUFF THEY SO LOUD IT SEEM LIKE THEY IN MY ROOM YEAH THE WALLS ARE THiN......THE MODEL IN THE OFFICE IS SEXY I MEAN I WAS LIKE YEA A WALK N CLOSET WOO WOO WOO DATS NICE AND THEN I WAS ACTUALLY IN MY KITCHEN AND ROACHES STARTED TO COME OUT BIG ASS HELL TOO AND PREGNANT OMG I SCREAMED I DO NOT EVEN DO THOSE THINGS EVEN PARK BERKSHIRE AINT HAVE ROACHES WELL NOT MY APT.........I HAD MOUSE ISSUES THERE AND I ALREADY KNOW IMMA HAVE EM HERE...........MY FRONT DOOR LOCK IS ABOUT TO FALL APART SCREWS COMING OFF AND ALL.......ONLY 2 DAYS AND THIS IS WHAT I GET WOW AND ALSO I FILLED OUT A CHECK LIST SHEET FOR THE HOLES AROUND MY APT AND A DISHWASHER I MEAN THE DISHWASSHER IS FULL OF FUNKY WATER AND ROACHES ARE COMING OUT OF THAT AS WELL I NEVER KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN AND NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO BECUZ IM STUCK AND I HAVE NO FAMILY TO HELP ME AND NOW IM SCARED I EVEN CRYED LASNIGHT BECUZ OF WHAT I GOT MY SELF INTO. TRASH ALL IN THE HALWAYS MY AUNT CAME AND SWEPT AND MOPPED THE HALLWAYS FLOORS WITH BLEACH COME BACK OUT ITS TRSH AGAIN IM SOOOOOOO MAD ITS CRAZY I HAVE GOTS TO FIND AWAY TO GET OUT OF THIS AREA FOREAL THIS IS CRAZY ONLY BEEN HERE FOR 2 DAYS AND I DONE SEEN OVER 10 ROACHES3rd day WHICH IS SUNDAY THE 24TH AMD I DONE SEEN MORE ROACHES THE NEIGHBORS MUSTA SEEN ME CLEANING THE HALLWAY WITH BLEACH AND WATER BUT A FEW MINUTES LATER ITS BOLOGNA IN FRONT OF MY DOOR THEN I FIND A RAT TURD RIGHT AFTER I CLEANED THE STOVE........MY DISHWASHER IS LEAKING WATER WHEN I CUT IT ON HMMMMMMM LETS SEEE THEY HAD TO ADD SCREWS TO MY LOCK BECUZ ITS LOOSE IM HAPPYY I CAN BUY OUT MY CONTRACT CUZ IN FEB OR MARCH IM GONE THIS HERE IS TOO CRAZY RIGHT HERE...IM SOO STRESSED AND THEN FOR THEM FOLKS TO BE THROWING FOOD AT MY DOOR I MEAN DAG IM SORRY IF I KEEP MY APT CLEAN ALL DAY I BEEN BLEACHING AND SCRUBBING THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE REPORTED AND CLOSED DOWN........LETS SEE WHAT DAY 4 HAS IN STORE FOR ME FOR XMAS DAY
ok NOW THE SUMMER IS HERE AND STILL THE SAME BS....NEW TENANTS MOVE IN NEXT AND WOW THEY ALL ARE LOUD FROM THE AM TO THE PM WEEKENDS IS CRAZIER.I CAN HERE THERE MMUSIC FULL LYRICS BASE AND MORE...THEY SIT ON THE FRONT PUT TRASH ON MY STOOP THINGY I GUESS A TERROR W/E IT IS ---- ITS CRAZY..MY CAR DONE GOT SCRATCHED

SINCE FRI THE 15TH OF AUGUST I HAVENT HAD HOT WATER I HAD TO GO SHOWER ELSEWHERE AND IM LIKE MY GAS BILL 15 DOLLERS AND DATS BEEN PAYED WITH MY RENT SOO WASSUP THEY TALKIN BOUT THE PLUMBER IS FIXIN STUFF UMMMMMMMMMMM SOOO Y ISNT A SIGN IN THE HALLWAYS WTF..I HATE THAT I LIVE OVER THERE AND IM TOO CLEAN TO BE LIVIN IN THIS AREA BUT ITS ALL GOOD CUZ THE COMPLEX WONT BE UP FOR LONG ITS ALL GOOD CUZ IM LOOKIN UP APTS NOW CUZ EVEN THO MY LEASE UP IN DEC ---- ILL B GONE WAY BEFORE THAT TRUST ME
AND I GOTTA ADMIT I HAD A LEAK SOMETHING TERRIBLE YES THEY STOPPED IT BUT AFTER 3 WEEKS Y IS MY WALL STILL FULL OF BROWN STUFF I NEED DRY WALL AND I ASKED FOR MY TUB TO BE REGLAZED BACK IN DEC CUZ ITS PEELING BAADD OK ITS AUG AND Y ISNT A LIGHT IN THE HALLWAY AND Y AM I PAYINA TRASH FEE AGAIN''

Sorry to hear this and you just moved there. You should have checked that particular apt before you accepted it even though the others were the same. Dam...that's messed up. Don't you have a 3 or 7 day timeframe to change your mind?

U can get out of your lease.. It should be a 15 or 30 day clause in which u can get out of it without penalty..read your lease...

I don't know whether some buildings are better than others but some neighbors certainly are. I agree with anonymous -- you should be able to get out of your lease. If you're having the problems you're having and have already complained to management and they've done nothing about it put in a notice to vacate, listing the problems you've had within the short time you've been in the apartment; send a copy of your notice to vacate to Housing Authority making sure you cc them on your notice to the rental office. Contact the rental office and the police department regarding the drug activity in the apartment above and inform the rental office of the neighbors leaving trash in the hallway. If nothing changes and you do decide to move and you're having problems with the rental office making repairs make sure you contact Housing Authority.

SORRY I FEEL YOUR PAIN ,I JUST MOVED FROM THERE IN SEPT.IF I WERE YOU I WOULD CALL THE HEALTH INSPECTORS OR EVEN THE LOCAL NEWS SATATIONS. MY CO-WORKERS STILL LIVE THERE AND THEY SHOWED ME A PICTURE OF A COUPLE OF DEAD MICE THAT WAS ON THEIR LIVING ROOM FLOOR WHEN THEY WALKED IN- I GLAD THEY DID NOT WALK IN WITH COMPANY!

thundah, there ARE some decent apts in md, u should try temple hills area like carriage hill or marlborough house apts they both are southern management and are all utilities included, yes the prices are a little pricy but can be worth it they both are gated and both are less than 5mins to naylor rd station, marlow hgts shopping ctr with giant, kfc, burger king and a few other fast food and clothing stores are just a 5 minute drive my brother has an apt at carriage hill and it's spacious also a friend of mine has a 1 bedroom at marlborough house she has a renovated apt with granite countertops, pantry and his n hers walk in closets in the bedroom and yes i would try either one of those places and i do hope u find a better home for yourself n just like the other person wrote u should call channel 4 or 5 news to warn other people looking for an apartment to stay away from there

IF U CAN'T ACTUALLY MOVE OUT, ASK THEM IF YOU COULD CHANGE YOUR UNIT. NOT SURE WHAT BUILDING UR IN BUT ASK IF THEY COULD PUT U IN EITHER OF FRONT BUILDINGS LIKE (6501, 6503 OR 6505). THAT WAS THE FIRST THING I SAID B4 I MOVED IN CUZ U KNOW THEY'RE GONNA TAKE CARE OF THE GROUNDS CLOSEST TO THEM, I'M IN 6505. BEEN HERE ALMOST 2YRS, HAVE SEEN 5 ROACHES MAX, ACTUALLY MOUSE JUST RAN BY BEHIND ME, I HAVE ENOUGH OF THOSE, (I GUESS I'M ON HIS CLOCK NOW, LOL), HAD NO HEAT BOUT 2 WKS AGO, THEY FIXED IT IMMEDIATELY, DISHWASHER FLOODS KITCHEN ON RINSE CYCLE, NOT SURE IF IT WAS ME CUZ I USED DISHWASHING LIQUID OR WHAT, BUT I JUST WANTED TO TRY IT OUT (I GREW UP WASHING DISHES BY HAND AND THAT'S WHAT I'LL CONTINUE TO DO) SO I NEVER BOTHERED TO CALL ABOUT IT. BUT OTHER THAN THAT I'VE HAD NO OTHER PROBLEMS. IF THEY EVEN CHANGE UR UNIT THEN CALL THE CORPORATE OFFICE IN GA. I ALWAYS HEAR PEOPLE SAYING ONCE THEY DID THAT, THEIR PROBLEMS WERE RESOLVED. I'VE NOTICED THEY RECENTLY CHANGED A BIT OFF THE STAFF. AND THE REGIONAL MAINTENANCE MGR IS HERE NOW, HIS NAME IS CHARLES N HE'S A SWEETHEART. GO TO THE OFFICE N ASK FOR HIM, SHORT BOUT 5'5-5'6 BROWN-SKINNED GUY WITH GLASSES. HE'LL HAVE ON MAINTENANCE UNIFORM, TELL HIM UR ISSUES N HE'LL TAKE CARE OF YOU. IF U STILL DECIDE TO MOVE, SOUTHERN MGMT HAS NICE PROPERTIES (USED TO LIVE IN OXON HILL) THEY HANDLE MAINTENANCE ISSUES QUICKLY, UTILITIES R INCLUDED, DECENT SIZED AND GROUNDS R VERY WELL KEPT. WOW!!! I live on the 6400 side, & trust me that must be where they
put all the Section A or 8 people & weed smokers at: The grounds on this side look like the "dirt bowl" no grass OMG, the laundry room is
the worse, they break into the machines so often until it isn't funny!
I agree with Baby_girl 26: about the up keeping of the grounds on the 6500 side, thats the show piece side,,,,& WTF is up w/ these iron gates that don't work? I like my apartment because I face the back & don't have to worry about seeing people from my balcony, although my car was broke into 4/05: so I had to invest in an alarm on the car but it was worth it, but they'll never catch me slipping AGAIN, I don't even let my
2 kids come outside unless we're getting in the car & leaving & or putting the trash out! These are some bad azz kids around here & truth be told I don't even want them in my house or knocking at my door asking if any one of my kids can come outside! It's like this on the 6400 side
it's a bunch of Bay-Bay's & their kids, nothing but the PJ's on this side
I AIN'T LYING!!!!!! & Heaven forbid when the weather is nice Bay-Bay & all their kids are outside all in the parking lot or playing in the streets like this is really the thing to be doing! Where they do that at?
oh then again they do it on the 6400 side!!! BTW: I've seen roaches & mice in my apt before but I invested in RAID & STEEL WOOL & GLUE TRAPS &
wasn't affraid to contact PG COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICE! So I have no
concerns at this time, I am just doing my time (my lease) LOL!! but once that's done then it's a wrap "PICTURE ME ROLLIN",,,,,,,

u r having these problems only after 2 days...wow. It did take me atleast 2 weeks besides the new tenant check sheet. Contactine the health inspector will dod no good. They have been on out to my place 3 times. Really, nothing has changed. I submitted my letter to vacate the premises...went to the office and spoke to someone over the phone and I have not gotten my confirmation papers yet. I think they are trying to lock me into my lease. I've only been here since July 31, 2007 and by October...I was so ready to leave. I put my rent into escrow. That still did not motivate them to do thier freaking job but yet they have no problem putting late notices on my door. I am in the process of moving with or without the confirmation.

Please don't move here you are making a big mistake they don't care about the tenants at all you call to speak to a manager Nikia Long no on never avaiable....but they are real quick to take your ------- money for rent...they also have mices & roaches... ghetto tenants... i have found condom rappers on my balcony plastic gloves and a winter hat what was someone trying to break in....The people that work in the leasing office are real ghetto no manners.. iwill also be moving out with or with out the damn confirmation but can can break your lease as long as you give a 30 days notice and pay for the next month rent it is stated in you rent agreement.....

I am a current resident at Regency village apartment, i have been a resident for a year now. I love the community i had no problem with management they are always smiling, happy going and always willing to help. My apartment is very spacious, i have yet to see a roach or mice in my home. They also have a awesome gym on sight, which saves me alot in gym membership for the past year. I dont know where all of this negativity is coming from but i have recommended and will continue to recommend to anyone looking for a home to go to Regency Village.IT IS AWESOME THERE.

SMILY2008 MUST WORK FOR THOSE TRFLIN BAMMAS. BOTTOMLINE IS THE PLACE IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND MICE AND IT'S NOT A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN BRING FAMILY AND FRIENDS OVER WITHOUT BEING NERVOUS ABOUT WHAT WILL COME OUT. MY DAUGHTER WANTED TO HAVE A SLEEP OVER BUT BECAUSE SHE AND HER BROTHER SAW A MOPUSE COME OUT OF THE STOVE WHILE THEIER TUTOR WAS THERE SHE QUICLKY CHANGED HER MIND. I HAVE BEEN SITTING ON THE COUCH AND SEEN THEM COME FROM UNDER THE SINK AND ON THE STOVE. I PACKED MY STUFF UP AND LEFT. I CANT LIVE UNDER THOSE CONDITIONS LET ALONE HAVE MY CHILDREN LIVE THERE. YES THE APARTMENTS ARE SPACIOUS AND THAT LEAVES MORE SPACE FOR THE RODENTS TO ROAM FREELY. IT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND PEOPLE NEED TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS. THINK ABOUT IT; HOW MANY OF THOSE PEOPLE IN THE RENTAL OFFICE LIVE THER ON THE PROPERTY???? I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO A HOMELESS PERSON!!!!!

Sounds like some people need to clean up once and a while and they would not get mice or roaches. Apartment living is what you make it. If you are a dirty person no matter where you live you will have bugs and mice. Get off your rear end and take some resonsibility for yourself. I love my apartment and no I don't work for the place but I am a person that does not need other people to wipe my a--.

i wont sit her and bs yall i had issues when i first moved here but my financial issues got bad i now hve a 2br renovated apt looks really good no complaints yet tho but my hot water isnt too hot inthe shower and my tub takes all day to drain

TO everybody who wrote responses on this website, everything you said must be true. I lived in Forest Creek apartments in 1986 back then the neighborhood was real nice and quiet we didn't have no mice back then. As the years went the neighborhood got worse they let all those section 8 people move in and take over. Two people in particular are Belinda Mitchell who has been around there for years and years. She is triflen and so is her house. She has used and abused the system all her life. She might work now but hell she still don't pay no rent. And this girl name Stephanie Archer she use to walk around the complex thinking she was so cute but her apartment was soooooooooooo dirty and triflen. Her refrigerator and bathtub looked like they never seen the sight of one cleaning product LMAO. She never cleaned up anything I believe she lived in 6577 at first the bottom apartment until it backed up and then somebody set that joint on fire and then she moved to 6581. She is triflen as hell and if any man ever visited her place I bet she never turned the lights on cause her carpet was dirty as hell and she had roaches out of this world. Bottom line all them ------- on Section 8 need to get a job and get a life. Now that they all got vouchers depending on us hard working tax payers $ to take care of them and there kids. It's sad that people have to deal with the issues in Forest Creek but if you don't like it roll the hell out. And for anybody who reads this who might be on section 8 and get offended oh well. Get the hell over it and make a better life for yourself
