Ive been living at Regency for about a year now, and i can say that when i first got here like anywhere i was happy but now im in the process of moving as i type. In the last 4months theres been at least 3 car break-ins (including my own, which was parked right next to the rental office) that i know of and just this month (Aug 08) they ended up evicting btw 150-175 ppl from there apartments bc of late fees and past due rent. They hired random men to go into ppls apartment and throw (literally)there stuff out on the street ( i saw this with my own eyes)They are not very helpful or friendly. I went in every month to pay my rent and never once did anyone say anything to me about me having a balance. well when they sent out notices to everyone(mind you this is the ENTIRE apartmenet complex 200plus) that if they had a balance that they were getting SUED and had to go to COURT. Thats when i found out that i had a balance of 230$. The notice was dated the 1st, i got the notice on the 6th and had court on 8th. Then when i told them that i wasnt going to be able to pay that by next rent they told me they were going to SUE me again. My car has been towed and my BF twice( the towing companies that they hire are CROOKED), there are ppl and kids hanging out all hours of the night most on your stoop. And there has been several times that ive heard gunshots from my bedroom window coming from across the street. LONG STORY SHORT, ITS CHEAP BUT YOU CAN FIND SOMETHING IN A WAY BETTER AREA WITH NICER PPL
