I have never lived anywhere where the property management was so unprofessional! Mrs. Becton, whose suppose to be the manager, knows absolutely nothing! How are you going to be the "manager" and be so clueless about your job' Everyone in that office is there to collect a pay check, because they obviously do not care about the quality of the work they do. Customer service is definitely not one of their strong suits. It's bad to say but, they contribute to the reason why black people have a bad name when it comes to trying to run a business. I can say that they do a great job at putting on a facade. Maintenance is rude and they definitely have no professional training, because the work they do is sloppy, they enter your apartment at any given time. Just a mess! Please keep looking!

I agree on everything you said! I lived there and got the hell out of dodge when my kids passed by a dead body in the street by the bus stop on their way to school one morning. Charles Legget came to my apt to fix things 10 mins after I sent an email threating to contact a lawyer... I paid to much rent for that apt for them not to fix things when I asked them to. I ALWAYS had a balance that no one could explain... and the washer and dryer that was supposed to be in my building was invisible. The mice and roaches should have paid rent! Then there was a mysterious fire in the building supposidly set by a candle lit in the refridgerator in a WIDE OPEN vancant in the basement!

MissGreen, I feel your pain. That's the lady I'm talking about that doesn't know anything! Maintenance was suppose to come in one day last week and they never came, but they came the next day without notice and just let themselves in. I called the office and spoke to Carolyn Becton, and she said she didn't know how they got the keys!! OMG! So you mean to tell me that random men can just walk in and out of your apartment. Next number I call is the POLICE!

Fortitude81 - Ms. Carolyn said what????????!!!!!!!! I was told that in order for the maintenance or contractor workers to come into anyone's unit, they are supposed to check those keys out. They have this device that keeps a log everytime someone checks out your key, which I thought was a good thing, but if she doesn't know what the hell is going on...what is the point? Keep a watch of your things because my apartment was broken into when I first moved around the community and to this day I don't know who did it, but I wouldn't put it past the maintenance and it would always been in the back of my mind. I think you are new to the community?Watch your surroundings (crazy people walk around...I have seen them), keep track of everything you send to that rental office in writing (I have a huge paper trail), ask for and keep your receipts (they lie about payments and it helps with the unknown balances that Anonymous was mentioning), and keep your ears open (you can learn a lot from people that run their mouth...it may help you). I only been around here for like 6-7 months and I have learned a lot in that timeframe.

I concur with all that you have said I used to live around there and my sister still live there and I took pictures of the mice on my counter having a party when calling the rental office they told me to ge get one of those things you plug in the wall. that was there solution to the problem. I also had a leak in the bathroom which was the people above toilet leaking and the emergency number stated that that was not an emergency and that it would have to wait until the a.m. My sister since living there have had roaches come from every hole, crack, door, window you name and they come from it. when calling the rental office they stated that they would send someone needless to say that was a joke. they never made it. then the untimate was when she called about the mice and they said that because of the weather change and tree cutting that they could not control that. they also stated I mean they have to have somewhere to go. weel after all of this crazy nonesense I and my other sisters call the health department and let me tell you this they do truly know people because nothing was done and upon my calling back several time to the health department it was just stated that well they do have 30 days to responde and get the situation corrected. here agian another joke!!! because the health department came back and then extended thier time for another 90 days. let's just say that that 90 days have now turned into 1 year and some change. the roaches now open the door for you and the mice well they just come out at random and do not care who is standing there. You cannot even stand still with out have at least 15 to 20 roaches all over you. The water in the bathroom have been running none stop for 15 months and they have yet to fix that. she now have black mold all over her walls and even more roaches because of the water issues. one of her neighbors said you will be getting a letter form them soon stating that you have house keeping issues now that you made a complaint and sure enough she got that letter and then the health department co-signed on that comment this is to let you know just how much pull they have or just who they know and or have in bed with them. I dear not give my name because they will know who my sister is and she will then get another letter. but let us get back to when my other sister lived over there and maintenance just walked in her apartment with no ticket and she was coming out of the shower just to see them dringking her son father beer and eating a sandwich mind you from her fridge. Regency Village apartments and the owners are the true version of "SLUM and SLUMLORD"

All of these people need to get a life. Azmazingly enough they spend more time blogging about this property then noticing that there is an obvious trend in their complaints. Who has time, unless your in the business, to sit down and complain about your apartment community. I am in the property management business, I do not currently work for Miles, but to me it would seem there is a lot more you could be doing with your time then being an "anonymous resident". If I do not like where I live, I simply just move.
