When I lived there the complex was called Forest Creek. I guess the reputation was so bad they had to change the name. The entire 3 yrs. I lived there, the dishwasher didn't work, other repairs were slow in coming and shoddy, the rodent problem went unchecked. My car was vandalized 3 times in a 6 week period. Remnents of "blunts" and used condoms were always in the dark, dingy, leaky laundryroom. The onsite "security" didn't make anyone feel secure. Onsite management was incompetent and surly. IT WAS THE PITS! I see from more recent tennants that it hasn't changed a bit. As soon as I was financially able to move, I gave notice, cleaned my unit and turned in the keys after waiting all day for the mgr. to come for final walk through. Months later, I received a call at my job from their accountant asking when I would be paying my rent! Even later I received a forwarded eviction notice though I had given 30 days writen notice, paid my rent and returned keys. They took me to court in MD though they had my forwarding address in DC, got a judgement against me which was thrown out because I neither lived nor resided in MD. Went to court in DC at which time their lawyer acknowledged they had no case and dismissed it. Four yrs. later, 2 yrs. after I relocated to Nevada, I got a bill from a collection co. demanding the disputed amount on their behalf which I ignored. My bad! Today, I was turned down for an apartment because those idiots have erroneous info on my credit report and with the rental reporting agencies. Now I have to hire an attorney to get this matter resolved once and for all. These people are slum lords! If you can afford to go elsewhere, please do.
