I lived at Surrey Square for one year. that was all I could stand. I lived at 6122. Yes the rooms are spacious. During the summer months (end of May thru September) my lowest electric bill was $450.00, but my apartment was never cool. Maintenance could never fix it to the point was actual cool air aif flowed thru the vent. It was as if I was paying for the elctricity for the entire building. The temperature was never blow 80 degrees, yet the thermostat was on 60 degrees or lower. The heat, quite frankly, was not much better. Complaining did not help. no one ever did anything but come in and put their hand right up to the vent and say, "I feel cool air". This building also had a tremendous insect problem. I had to pay professionals to come in because the rental office would not respond quickly enough, or when they sent someone it was if the solution the used attracted the insects even more. For the money they are charging, I believe the conditions should be much better.
