With a new name - "Berkshire of National Place" - change from Potomac Heights, you get the impression of a poorly-managed complex attempting to reinvent itself. However, as a long time resident of Potomac Heights, do not be deluded or fooled by name changes. Other management companies have used the same ploy with similar results. The usual evening in my apartment consists of breathing cigarette smoke coming into my living room from the stairwell; loud, thumping noise coming from other apartments shaking the bedroom and requiring earplugs to sleep. After I informed the "new" Berkshire Property Manager about the conditions in my apartment, the pitbull roaming about the complex from a neighboring building and the trash being left by a neighbor in the stairwell, she directed me to find a security guard on the property and fix the problem. Not much a change there from previous, incompetent, uncaring managment.

Why, then, are you a "long-time resident"? Get the funk out!
