I moved in the end of May 2009. They give you the sheet to fill out and send back to the rental office to let them know what needs to be fixed in your apartment. I had about 8 items that needed correcting. As of today, July 31st, NOTHING has been done. How is that'' It seems like they would cater to the new tenants first to make a good impression. My daughters bedroom window got broke and it took them 3 days to come and replace it. For the rent I pay each month, I deserved better service.

The maintenence will remain unresponsive for your entire stay...so when you move in, they just show you how it will remain. The rental office took my move in sheet as well when I moved in, and they never came back...so you are not alone.

You are right. When I moved in last August I turned in my sheet within two days and they never came to fix anything on there. I have also been having problems with my ceiling it took them a week to come and fix it and now the spot is still in the ceiling. Yes, the bus service does suck I get out there at 5:45 for the 5:47 bus and it doesn't come until 6:00. You are not alone.

Hope and pray that your AC unit doesn't go out because you will definitely be in your apartment sweating like you are dancing at the club. They do not follow thru if something can't be fixed the same day or next day. It has been 4 days now and I was told they are finally replaces the thermostat but they have to get with head of maintenance to work on the air flow into the second bedroom. I was told to get a ceiling fan. LOL!!1

My a/c went out one night and the emergency maintenance came to check it out. Well I can't call him maintenance because he knew nothing and smelled like he was drinking. It took the third day to get my a/c fixed and that was with repeated calls.

I have lived in these apartments for years but since berkshire took over the quality and service has decreased significantly. They came in with the promise to remodel the apartments but didn't say that only meant the EMPTY ones and if you are along time tenant you have to apply as if you were brand new off the street. If that's not enough because of the renovations and empty apartments surrounding me, my family and I get to live with an insect infestation along with the poor maintenance, my a/c was recently out for 8 days during the hottest time of the year.

you people are pitiful!! why are u still living in these apts?? if u having all of these problems y r u still there and y the fuk would u move into a place with out doing a walk through and if u did do a walk through y the fuk did u move in if the apt had flaws and ---- still needed to be fixed? if u move somewhere its supposed to be ready completely to move in not oh take this sheet and let us know what needs to be fixed, the apt complex should already know what needs to be done to the apts and have them fixed before anybody move in!! and yall the ignorant ones who chose to move in with the bullshiiit! if that was me i would ask to view an apt that is available for move in not a model apt, so if u do notice problems u dont have to move in. stupid ass people on this site!! lol and yall still live there tho, break your leases or something all the tenants that are complaining should just move out on they ass bet they fix up and get they act together then! or take they ass to landlord/tenant court bet u they straighten up then
