I have lived here since 2002 management in the beginning was very community oriented and had great customer service. Ms. Smith is a trip, how do you walk in to the rental office and the manager just looks you up and down and walks off w/o speaking. They continually send out notices with incorrect rental rates, try to overcharge. Now says that the interest rate on the deposits have decreased 1% effect 10/05 and its some new Maryland law that only affects this property. I am currently checking into this with the Attorney Generals office. If your not home and maint comes in the apartment the work will not be done, then they will say they dont have a key, but left a slip to adv they entered the apartment. The grounds are well kept. The biggest problem I have is that ever since Mrs Smith became manager she wants to inspect your apartment about 4-5 time a year, and the most recent inspection stated that she was checking for housekeeping. Last I checked we were not on section 8 and are grown so I dont need her or anyone else to check my apartment that I pay damn good money for when they feel like it. How about paint my walls like my original lease states after 3years and replace the carpet. Since you want to inspect something. Inspect your end of the contract. I have other issues w/i the apartment and with management. I am filing a lawsuit and every time I speak with them I record it(thanks to nextel) as well as save every message left. Can I have more than one visitor parking pass. Or make the section behind 5300's a visitor lot.
