First of all the interest rate is 3% in Maryland. and as far as the painting goes in the state of Maryland the landlord is only required to paint your apartment every five years. and for the carpet their is nothing that required management to ever replace your carpet,now if you wanted your carpet clean and if the office wanted to do that for a resident it is up to them,as rewarding you for doing all the things that a resident is suppose to do.the now if your carpet needs streghted they need to do that. You as a resident are requied to keep your apartment clean and are required to also keep carpet clean. First of all you need to understand that this is a business. and dont forget you can't record someone without them knowing about it.And if you dont like living where there are rules then go buy a house or rent a apartment in a area where no body cares and see what you get. and also the management can enter their apartments 10 times a year if they want as long as they give you 24 hours notice, and in case of a emergency either by 24 hours after. Poor housekeeping is grounds to give you notice to vacate. So I suggest next time before you move into a apartment read the paper work that you sign, be more informed before not after. And most important that apartment you rent is that a rented space that you pay for and it belongs to someone else, so if you,rent from someone being a house,apartment or a hole in the wall,just remember that as long as you signed a lease you are bound by what ever in it.When you sign a legal contract, and later you say you didnt know. who's fault is that.Remember every job,office, everything in life has rules, and regs.if not where would we be.

I looking to rent an apartment but by the looks of this review I will pass on your. You may be anonymous, however the way you are speaking I can tell you are the leasing manager or work for the apartment and with that kind of attitude nobody is going to want to rent from you.. Advice you catch my bee with honey than vinger.
