Whats Wrong with the Air Conditioning

Why can t this place keep the air conditioning operational' Every year, it breaks especially when needed most. This is just irresponsible, negligent, management. This does not make sense; EVERY YEAR the air conditioner breaks! And the non professional manager in the rental office does not care, nor does the maintenance staff. It was just serviced, so what happened. I m tired of their lame excuses. Please, somebody, get off your but and do your job.

I totally agree. I've been a resident of Westwood for several years and this happens every year!!!! I pay too much money to be melting in my apartment. It's absolutley rediculous!!!

I totally agree with all the comments regarding the air conditioning. The first day we had that 84 degree weather with a notice posted on all doors entering the building, I do believe management should have turned the air on that day to see what would be occurring with it. Nooooooo! Waited until May 20, 2009 (shouldn't it have been turned on May 15, 2009) and what do we get - one night of semi-cooled air and the next day when I walked back into my apartment - I thought I had gone into a sauna. Unacceptable. How long will we have to wait for parts now? Just like the rest, I have been a resident of Westwood for a good moment. Location is nice, space is nice, staff is nice - but something must be done about the air. We do have tenants in this building with health issues that's in need of air at an appropriate time and now is the time. Please lets get the air fixed, etc., in order we may have a wonderful summer until October 15, 2009 (heat supposed to come back on). I know some of the maintenance reside in building - don't you feel the heat during this hot period? Lets be PRO-active instead of REactive. Jump onto that issue before it becomes a major problem. To keep the vacancy rate at a low level, please take care of your tenants (especially, those that remit faithfully their rent in a timely manner). I know that the name of the game is to save money for management but you sometimes have to spend a little money to save that money. Parking is great. By the way, thanks for cutting those two monstrous trees down at side door that faces Rosecroft. I feel safer when I depart in the morning and coming home in the evening. It looks like a new building on that side. Well done.

I totally agree, I'm somewhat of a new tenant and I've only had air conditioning for a week! All they tell you is that they've ordered parts. So I asked, how much do I get off my rent? She rudely replied- Nothing! I've never had a problem with Maintenance. They tend to my services in a timely matter- besides with the air conditioning problem. And you're right, why wait until May 20th??
