I have lived here for almost a year. When I moved in I pointed out several things (such as repainting the horridly painted door and repairing a hole in the wall) that I insisted be fixed prior to my move in. Move in day came and none of these things were done. I signed the lease nonetheless since the manager assured me these would be repaired within the week. 12 months and countless requests later, these have still not been done.

As a rule, repair requests take weeks, regardless of how simple they may be. My oven took 11 weeks and 3 visits to get it functioning. My dryer was never repaired to my satisfaction. (It routinely takes 2 hours to dry a small load of laundry.)

The office staff was friendly and sympathetic when I moved in. They have since changed management and the staff is completely indifferent to your situation. They will be more than happy to collect your rent check and fill out a maintenance request but if you require anything more, like following up on the last request that was never done, you are simply out of luck.

All of that being said, the apartment itself is nice. New carpet was installed prior to my move in. The grounds are always well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, although there have been a few incidents of crime in the last year.

I will not be renewing as my renewal offer consisted of a 20% increase. The apartment is simply not that good of a value.
