Moved here this summer due to my husband's job nearby. I was scared by all the negative reviews, but I love our apartment! No, it's not perfect, but it is nice. Our appliances are functioning, the place was pristine when we moved in. We enjoy sitting out on our back deck. I use the fitness center often (though it is tiny!) and the pool is beautiful. Right across the street from a shopping center with everything you need- It's a great location. As for noise, I have to say this is one of the least noisy places I have ever lived in. I am lucky enough to be on the 3rd floor in a corner unit so I have never heard the neighbors from inside my apartment. I hear that it depends on what part of the complex you live in. Mine is known to be quiet, which we asked for. We also got a newer apartment, as some of the old ones are in worse shape. But, it seems like the new management is fixing things up- since we've been here they installed new sprinkler systems and treated for bees throughout the complex. Pets are allowed- I have a cat and have seen many people walking their dogs and occasionally hear dogs barking, but, I wanted a complex where pets were allowed so I can deal with some barking dogs. Anyway, we plan on staying for at least a few years while we save up to buy a condo. Come check it out for yourself, it's not as bad as people say. Remember to ask for a quiet area. Yes, be scared of the other reviews, those are real people with real experiences. And there are more, as neighbors share their latest horror stories. "Newer" and "quiet" apartments? Interesting, all the buildings/units are decades old, with barely adequate insulation. "Sprinklers throughout the complex"? False and this is easily proven. "Fixing things up"? After several months of begging they will fix your appliance that broke down. Dogs barking "occasionally"and good for "young families"? The kids are scared to death of a dog that's allowed to bark viciously all day long bothering everyone. "New management"? There is frequent turnover of ownership as yet another company decides they don't want the place, but they keep the same old staff. The place just keeps getting worse. We are so disappointed to be treated this way. It is shameful.

Hmm, well, we had all new sprinklers installed in our apartment and on our deck. I thought everyone in the complex was getting them but maybe not. Also I understood that some sections were newly renovated, for instance we saw one with older cabinets and appliances than the one we ended up moving into. I do believe they are real people, it's just that my experience so far hasn't been bad. I am not undermining your experience, just saying that mine has been different and I have been happy so far.
