My husband and I moved in last June and they tricked us. It looks good from the outside with the manicured lawns and friendly staff. We thought our stay here would be better than our stay in Glen Burnie. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!! At first they offered a 24-hour gym and they took it away and started closing it at 10pm, which is after the time I come in from work. They offered office Hours from 9-6pm M-Sunday. Now I think they close at 5pm (I think) and are closed on Sundays. Everyone has an individual way to get into his or her own building and anyone else will have to call to call up to be let in (that's a plus). The office volunteered to accept packages that could not be left at people's buildings (I thought that this was to preserve our privacy and security), now they are offering our building codes to delivery people (uh, we don't know them). I specifically asked before we moved in if we would be able to hear the people above us and we were assured that the floors had a "buffer" between them. A layer of concrete, or something, to reduce the noise. That's so not true. I can hear the lady above me coughing; I think she has chronic bronchitis. Her husband or the man who lives with her urinates for no less than 1-minute (which is a long time to empty one's bladder). When they walk, our floor vibrates too. The people below us talk so loud that I can hear what the girl (who by the way, occasionally looses her son who can walk but not talk). One night she encouraged her phone partner to rob their roommate. I debated whether or not to call the cops, but didn't. It wasn't until we started watching Aladdin that she and her little boy calmed down.

When we first moved in it was because we could have dogs. Well as of January, certain buildings can no longer have dogs. Mine is one of them.

The staff is lovely. The maintenance people are prompt and courteous when they come. They do have a problem following up when they say they will. The rent is pricey but there is a TON of space.

We will not be renewing our lease if we can help it.

Parking is good when the building isn't full (completely rented out). They turn the apartments around so fast they there is no time to say something to someone about the issues that are occurring. I don't think they care that people are moving out in the winter for a reason. Regular people don't think about moving in the winter. If we could, we would right now.

The trash situation has got to improve. People from several units share one bin and by the weekend, it's overflowing to a point where people throw trash AT the bin and all around it.

It's just not worth the money.

Maybe the management should ban folks from urinating or evict them if they urinate for a full minute. Owe and bronchitis sufferers should not be allowed either. Perhaps then the letter writer would be happy?? Did anyone fail to realize were talking about apartments ah...where there are poeple above, below and beside you! Perhaps a deserted island would be better for these unhappy renters. I happen to enjoy the sounds of life going on around me, it let's me know I'm still alive!!
