Sucks man

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I've lived here since the pretty much opened and Hey-Zeus -----t-o is this place a friggen circus. ----- the manager is an intolerable little prick of man. (I have two quotes: One to my friend who has medium long hair "Long hair is just so gross looking. You look like a trouble maker." and on the topic of our pool being 3 feet all around, "Who swims anymore'") Most of the staff is helpful though otherwise then the minor idiocy lurking in the office.
Also be weary; They may look damn fine from the outside and hell even the inside, but -----t, just give the walls a knock or two and realize how weak stabled this is. Our apartment before relocating in the same neighborhood had electricity difficulties, which upon speaking to the electrician trying to fix the lights told us, "Well to be honest this building is so horribly wired that this place could easily light up." We were then told less then a week later the problem was resolved. Hmm... I wonder why it is our lights throughout the building were flickering or in some cases entirely turned off. Is it just me or is climbing 3 flights of stairs difficult in a pitch black setting'
On top of all this, prior to relocating we had a problem with the man above us creeping around at the hours of 3 AM drunk off his ass. We also have had break in to the garages and ---- man, our garage door lock was never fixed, so uh double-you-tee-eff brother. On top of this our garage door was broken and we were told it was fixed and uh... yeah, fixed my ass. We simply received rolled eyes when we mentioned it, so to hell with it. So I mean, considering the electric is screwy, you've got some occasional creeps lurking, and a ---- in charge who doesn't give two shits about your well being, obviously only giving two shits about his own pocket. Great stuff, eh'
So here is my final gripe, although trust me, this could be several pages longer; My GD closet had no effing insulation. How did I discover this' Perhaps the fact that my closet in the winter was facing a temperature of about 40 to 50 degrees, and oh yes I checked the temp, while my bedrooms heat would be blaring because unfortunately the cracks underneath all the doors are an inch and half above the damn floor. Pretty sweet deal when you're trying to relax in your room and you're freezing your balls off with your heat up to 80. Enjoy.
So aside from those minor *cough*major*cough* things, ahem, excuse me. There are good things. Consider this, it offers possibly the best view of my beautiful upcoming booming city of Frederick. Some views overlooking such things as the construction of the new pharmaceutical company. This may not seem much not, but in 2 to 3 years, the skyline will be gorgeous when taking into consideration Frederick's plans on expanding into a damn decent city (Assuming the idiots in office, aside from Holtzinger, actually get their heads out of their asses and do this right) the opportunity for possibly the most spectacular view in the city is available here. But is a view worth a ---- ton and a half of absurd difficulties' Maybe in the coming years they'll improve this community, but my doubts remain high.
Another great thing is that as I said, aside from -----, the general staff, especially -----'s (with lack of better reference) Angels, are a huge help and make up for much of his lacking ability to operate and be a decent person. So aside from one needle in the haystack who unfortunately for us is most of the time there in office, we're in good company. Hell, I'd even say great company. The women who run the office, (Referred to as '-----'s Angels') and the incredibly awesome and personable maintenance crew (Who although incredibly kind and personable still don't exactly get the job done, no offence guys, at least you keep the place happy.) really keep the morale up in this place. Without them, this place would fall apart, honest.
So all in all uh... don't move here. It sucks man, but if you're honestly convinced by the sales...eh...women who will be showing you around, then go for it, just be prepared. Keep in mind they told us I'd never be able to hear the highway from my room because of my concern due to the fact the windows were facing this highway (Saw some pretty cool wrecks actually) and somehow I managed to be able to hear every single damn tractor trailer driving by. Day in, day out. You grow used to it and I honestly didn't mind, just dont' -------- me about this horseshit "sound proof" apartment get up you guys pitch. I'll be real, I've lived in Frederick since 6th grade, sticking to the the Ballenger area the entire time (Most of us consider the 3 developments in The Villages of Ballenger Creek simply The Villiages of Ballenger Creek, and now recently Camden has essentially been inducted.) and I know people who live all over, and quite frankly, hell, I'd live in Kingscrest over these things.
Like I said, nice looking on the outside, and hell, nice looking on the inside. But live here a month or two and experience a true hell with us.
Cheers.
And just remember, "Who swims anymore'"
