I moved in Elmwood Terrace 5 years ago, and I am very please with my apartment, and apartment complex. When I first moved in my leasing agent was extremely pleasant and willing to help me. When I first seen my apartment, it surpassed my expectations, the rooms were vey large, and I loved my kitchen appliances. I have never seen any roaches in my apartment, and I have never had any issues with noise coming from other apartments. I am a single woman with two kids, and I feel very safe in my apartment complex. I have a new car, and it has never been vandalized. I can always find parking in the parking lot, and Elmwood Terrace apartment is patrolled by a uniformed security guard, who can be seen driving his company's security vehicle around the entire apartment complex. Anytime, I have had a maintenace issue, and I had to call the rental office, the Elmwood staff has answered my calls with respect and were very polite and courteous. My maintenance issues has always been resolved that very same day because they would send a maintenance worker to my apartment right away to fix the issue. My cousin who lives in a different apartment complex in Frederick has to wait weeks before her apartment complex sends someone to fix her maintenance issues. This year, Elmwood Terrace built and opened up a new community room/fitness center/Pool/Sundeck. The community room has two internet accessible computers with a printer set up so residents who don't have a computer can come to the center and use it for free. They have 1 large flat screen television in the community room, and 3 medium size flat screen televisions in the fitness room, along with 4 treadmills, 2 eliptical machines, 2 stationary bikes, and various weight equipment. The weight room is accessible up until 9:45pm by using a hand-wand to enter the fitness facility. I have never had any problems living in Elmwood Terrace. I absolutely love my apartment community. In March of 2003, I was the one who wrote the "Happy" review, now in November of 2007, I am still happy. That's why I have remained here for so long.
