Old apartments not worth that rent
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 7/28/2006
Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
While I moved in, I saw all old style equipments, but a new carpet. Though I'm not OK with style and appearence, I feel ok with the quiet community.
The 3 water leaking problems in that apartment, making me to think whether this apartment is in a rentable condition.
1. Water coming through the floor, near to vanity mirror of master bedroom from the water lines compartment. They resolved it after a few attempts, but we suffered for nearly a months time. I felt great difficulty with the kids, suffering this stupid water leaking.
2. Next one, water leaking from the ceiling of Kitchen, aparently it is water leaking problem of the apartment above our apartment.
They broke open the ceiling and resolved it and kept open the ceiling for 2 weeks. Again a month of 'not peaceful' time.
3. Its been 3 months now, still they are attemping to resolve this water leaking problem, this occurs only during raining.
If it rains, water coming through the window top at the second bedroom and bedroom wont be usable until two days after raining.
Luckily I moved the items away from the window, but that bedroom is not in use.
These problems made me to think, whether this apartment is in a rentable condition.
