Although the grounds are nicely kept, the building is quiet, and the maintenance staff that comes to work inside the apartments is polite and skillful, I'd still avoid these apartments if at all possible. The office staff is consistently rude (for example, once when I was locked out of my apartment and walked to the leasing office for assistance, one of the staff members suggested that I take the number she wrote on a sticky note and walk out to a pay phone on Route 40 to call for help, as she was technically off the clock and didn't want to call from her desk), they give out contradicting information, and the management company will not return calls or assist with problems or complaints. At over $1100 a month for a small two bedroom apartment, I expect far better service. I plan to move as soon as the lease is up, as there are plenty of places Frederick that rent for less than the Manor and value their tenants more.
