I've lived at the FSK for 2 years. It's a beautifully restored historic building. Coming home every night feels like coming home to a luxury hotel. The staff maintains a friendly know-your-name relationship with the residents, always seeking ways to make it a better and cooler place to live.
Parking leaves much to be desired. The downtown area of Frederick is difficult with parking period. The building offers a space in a parking garage, for a monthly fee. You can also purchase a city permit BUT, the permit DOES NOT allow you to park within 2 blocks of the building, due to parking regulations. Alot of people i know park at Baker park, about 6 blocks away.
Noise level in this place is -0-. VERY well insulated from sounds of other apartments.
