Management is dishonest - lies about the terms, then refuses to abide by the terms of the written lease. Then threatens or takes legal action, to see if you will let them get away with it. Some repairs took over a year. Will do nothing about giant ice patch in parking lot in winter - risk your life for weeks. Overpriced - they want to drive out all tenants so only subsidized housing and corporate apartments remain. Most of sales staff is assigned to find corp tenants at near hotel rates. Primarily running a hotel on property zoned for multi-family units. Cars have had wheels stolen. A couple was robbed at gunpoint across the street and no one was told. Virtually no place to park at night in the summer (when short term renters fill complex.) Some of the office staff are incredibly incompetent - can't follow directions. Buildings looked awful for years = poor construction materials. Water leaks in apartment. Management fails to gives 48 hours notice before entering apt. Maint people will put on rubber gloves before unlocking apt and entering without any notice (so they don't leave fingerprints for entering illegally). Managment didn't want to repair or replace 10 year old a/c units, so they began charging for water and let them leak. Trees block street lights so much that there is nearly no light in parking areas.
