Since Archstone has taken over Oakwood it has been nothing but a nightmare. They lie to people about the MPDU apts. They told my girlfriend that they don't allow the certificate's and they told her they had none available. That was a lie, b/c my friend rented one the very next day when he came in person.The whole managment crew are nasty, mean, rude, and they are snooty. The apts. location is great! But the apts. are old, with old unmatching appliances and the carpet never gets replaced.There have been four robberies, and they have a huge termite issue. Not to mention the fact that they have tons of highschool deliquents that hang out all hours of the night. In and around the pools and fitness center. They even have guys that smoke weed in the fitness center. The manager there is horrible person and all the girls are pretentious and nasty. I am moving out b/c after my year was up i actually got a rent increase that was only $4, geez, I wonder why'! There desperate to keep people b/c they are doing so bad...I want Oakwood back so bad! The property manager and the whole staff were awesome! BUT THERE ALL GONE AND THERE ALL AT THE HIGHRISE NOW:(
