Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
I moved into Brighton several months ago.
The apt itself is reasonably nice. New carpets, new kitchen and bath. Easy access to Metro.
Some BIG negatives however:
#1 Negative:
Office staff is real bad. They are youngish and all very arrogant. I am a single white male and I wince when I hear the manner they talk to foreign folks/minorities. Even to me, they are abrupt and discourteous. Some of the least helpful people I've ever met.
#2 Negative:
Maintenance BITES. Takes them forever to fix something. It took me 3 calls over 3 days(!!) to get my air conditioning fixed, despite their assurance that A/C would take priority.
Other negs:
Area can be bad; lots of roving youth making noise at night.
Thin walls/floors - expect complaints from neighbors if you like to play your tv/music at a medium/loud level.
