I lived here for over 3 years and had an overall positive experience.
POSITIVES:
Close to shopping and restaurants. You can walk to 5 or more restaurants and 2 fast food places (Pizza Hut and Obee's). Grand Mart grocery has inexpensive produce and a good mix of asian and latino foods that cater to the area demographics. Pet store, barber shop, Golds Gym all within walking distance.
Close to a park with tennis, basketball, soccer and a walking trail.
Secure buildings with building door lock in addition to apartment door locks that add to the security.
Nice balcony, storage area, laundry in every building.
NEGATIVES:
Walls are paper thin. You can hear your adjacent neighbors. Floor boards creak whenever anyone walks in apartments above you. I advise you get the top floor apartment and be able to appease your neighbors complaints when you walk around the apartment. I had to sleep with earplugs every night.
Poor insulation. Expect high heating, cooling bills.
The office accepted a FedEx package for me and lost it- I was never compensated for my $270 loss.
