A fine place to live, if you are on the top floor

I have lived at Brighton Village for over a year, and found it it to be a realitvely positive experience. The apartments have plenty of room, can be upgraded with ceiling fans, microwave, shelving, paint and borders prior to moving in ( this is nice, becuase it "personalizes" the apartment). Two thing you should be wary of is that the electircity bill in the summer is outrageous between $150-220/month. But the other months it is close to $50, while the heating will be $20 in the summer and close $90-100 in the winter. This is without the adding any insulation yourself as described by other reveiws. The other major problem is that the floors are very thin, so if you don't live in a top apartment (3rd story, but really only 2 1/2 flights of stairs) you can hear every move going on above you. Also if your neighbors are throwing a party with any music, you will here this from below or above you. All in all the apartments are a good quaulity for the price in this area.
