For apartment living...it was about what one would expect....

I moved in here after looking at LOTS of apartments in the area....the utilities are high as some other reviews said, but the rent is not too bad and some of the amenities make up for some of the downfalls. The buildings are older, in need of some renovation. Insects are a problem. I live in a third floor apartment, so I don't have all the noise problems others have talked about, but there are some. My biggest complaints are the frequent and random water shutoffs, the lack of a lot of parking, and the arrogance of some folks with kids who allow them to ruin the use of the pool in the summer (and the indoor pool in winter as well.) The exercise room, though well equipped, is small and not arranged well and though it has a TV, there is no remote to change the channel. Another negative is that while the building is 'secure' the front door lock on my building is often broken, and other tenants prop the door open to allow their kids to run in and out. While I wouldn't say this is a luxury community, it's about what one should expect for apartments in this area.
