Yes, the gym is an annoyance and has been taking awhile to re-open. However, I run, and there's a great wooded trail right behind the apartment complex. I never understood why people would bother running on a treadmill when they could use the beautiful trail just minutes away from the gym.

Maintenance is courteous and fast. My requests have been satisfied in one day. The office employees seem quicker than usual, but I never deal with them much so it doesn't matter to me. The rent cost is very nice for the quality you get.

They had a huge window renovation in 2005 which ended up not being such a big deal (all windows were replaced with 2-sided ones).

Personally, I'd recommend this place to anyone. In walking distance is a large international grocery store, Grand mart, that contains foods from all over the world, and their produce is better priced than other other markets like Safeway and Giant. There's also easy access to freeway.

Since you don't understand why people run on tread mill. I would be glad to make you understand. Since due to different work schedules, people exercise at different times of the day. Some people exercise after returning from work late, at 9'O clock in the night. Housewifes exercise after their husbands go to office and kids to school at around 11 or 12 O'clock in the day. Since they are all sane persons they dont exercise in the trail at that time of the day, and would want to do it in the Gym. Exercise means not just running. Some old people dont run and prefer to do cross trainer and cycling for cardio. and others who want to do weights need a weights machine. Since they know that they cant do it on the trail they would want to do it in the Gym. Lastly when tenants moved here, they were told that they have Gym as a facility. and since facilities are included in the rent, tenants are paying for it. I too agree that Maintenance and other things are good with Bryghton and many other tenants also do. Everyone's complaint is only the Gym. "When the management has enough money collected from rents since many years, why again collect rent from the tenants". Hope I clarified you.
