I've been living there for more than 2 years and decided to move because of the noise. Noise generated by trains traveling day and night, 24/7. There is a train track right in the back of the building and the noise is horrible (even tough you get used to it after some time) so don't expect to have a quiet sunday afternoon at home.
The floorplans are great. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms and loft (5th and highest floor). The onsite staff is very nice. The managing company, Darnestown Management, is very serious and efficient.
Don't expect much sunlight. The building only has a few apartments facing west and those facing east have a direct view on the railroad (noise!).
So I am recommending this place except for people looking for a quiet and bright place.

Why on earth would this person rent an apartment by a train track and expect there NOT to be noise? Good grief. I live there, and like anything else, you get used to the trains. If you commute into the city...believe me, it's a GREAT location to live. The MARC train station is directly across the street. Although not always reliable to be on time....it beats driving! The management is fantastic! Highly recommend it...trains and all.
