I got tired of debt, sold my house, kissed the electric company goodbye, and moved in to Cider Mill. ALL UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED. I pay 869 per month and loving the money it is saving me. Two of my neighbors appear to be of the Indian culture and are quiet, polite and hard working people who are very respectful. Four of my neighbors are white and also are the same. Many people take pride in their balonies with pretty flowers and outdoor furniture. Some have yards that sport beautiful lawns and shubbery and flowers. The apartment is what you make it.
Of course in apartment living, you will have some people who are not of your own persuasion, but dont think for a minute that just because you are paying 1500 a month for your apartments that you dont have weirdos at your apartment complex too. They are everywhere. I have not seen a bug in my apartment yet, so the comments about bugs and etc on this board is not true. I like the laundry room, the dumpster where I can just unload all of my trash including household items, the restricted parking, the pet policy, the pool, and the car wash that is for residents. I love being right behind the mall, and I love being accessible to everywhere. Once my neighbors had a party that really irritated me,but it was just for 6 hours during the day then it was over. I live up toward the front. I have a 80 year old neighbor who lives on the first floor with her dog and she loves it here.She goes for a walk everyday. She walks to the grocery store, movies, mall and even Kaiser is within walking distance...so I imagine she walks up there to the doctor. That is another thing I like...being able to go for a walk without going in isolated areas,you can go for long walks and not worry. So , if you are considering Cider Mill....I think it would be worth it. I havent been here long, but so far it is very pleasant.
