I lived 2 years and still here. I could not move out because because my works near by (walking distance).

The main streanth of these apartments is its location and low cost. Very nice surroundings such as a big mall, busy shopping centers and a library at walk-in distances. Ample space around apartments with very good landscape.

But, it is becoming very dangerous to live here due to following reasons

1. Crime is increased: You may need to verify local police department but what I heard from other residents in these apartments that there are many crimes recently. Break-ins, Gun point intrusions, commenting women on walk ways, noise pollution. One such gun-point intrusion has happened to one family I know. In my opinion, there should be a mandatory listing of all crime incidents happened in apartments. management's response is by having pertols by cops. That is somewhat helping but I felt more is needed.

2. Mice: Lot of mice once. Management worked hard to exterminate most of them. Some of them are died in vents and near AC ducts giving foul smell when you start air conditioning. But I appreciate how hard the exterminators fought to make my apartment completely free from mice. It is a great service by management

3. As mentioned rightly by other reviewer (Nemo1980), DOPE SMOKERS-DANGEROUS PEOPLE are crawling everywhere to scare you.

4. TOO MANY HISPANIC PEOPLE: Yes... But there should not be problem if there are no incidents. Most of them are nice but unfortunately there are many incidents I personally witnessed include, staring at women (Are they sex starved ') and commenting women (That can not be tolerated at all).

5. Once utlities are included. Now slows management is making tenants to pay utilities. So no more low price attraction.

6. Noise: Occationally I work from home. I had many complaints of loud noise. I really did not understand why should be a loud speaker music to blast few surrounding apartments. My kitchen completely vibrates making me crazy enough. Management took care of this by sending letters and notices.

So finally, I can not recommend these apartments to anybody despite I have a safe time luckily. I really ejoy its landscape and surroundings and may friends those are staying in these apartments. And service I got from management is really great. So many times they responded immediately so I can not personally complain about it. The negative issues I discussed above are not their faults.

the management will not do anything about the noise - my walls have what sound like boom cars on the other sides of them, which makes the walls vibrate.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with any race or culture living in these units. My main problem is the high level of rodent and roach activity. Those glue traps that maintenance leaves down on the floors to catch the mice are a joke. I have at least 15 of those spread out in some well-hidden areas of my place and they haven't been effective at all at catching the mice that I've seen in my apartment on 6 different occasions. I don't think I can break my lease at this point (too difficult to prove any wrongdoing on management's part since maintenance is pretty responsive though the methods they use are a complete joke plus it's too expensive) so I have no choice but to suck it up and wait for my contract to end. But believe you me, I'm out of here in 9 months.
